Site software fixes and updates
The site has been updated with a number of bug fixes to Australian content due to changes in the way the BOM controls its data access, and a server update. Additionally, the Warnings function has been fixed and now available again. Thank you to all my donors for enabling the site to be able to continue. Site security and Performance Upgrade
A new release of the underlying software for the SamfordWeather.com web site has been tested and implemented. The main focus of the update is to improve security of the site and the underlying databases. The cost of this has been covered by the kind donations received - thank you to my donors:-)
We have also updated to the latest version of PHP which increases performance of the site. PHP is the computer language that the majority of the web site is written in and runs 'behind the scenes' on the web server.

1 Feb 2023: Gauges Removed from Desktop Display
I've removed the pretty gauges from the top of the Desktop Display. They regularly failed to display properly, showing an error message instead.
If you want them back, please drop me an email on info@samfordweather.com and I'll investigate whether the cause can be fixed or not.
