Frequently Asked Questions (Last updated 8 April 2021)

Q: Why do things keep changing on the site?

A: Weather data changes continuously and is uploaded every 5 seconds to the site, which changes the numbers displayed every minute. Any feedback appreciated - please see About | Contacts.

Q: Whats the difference between the mobile site and the desktop site?

A: The Desktop site as a multiude of interactive and detailed information about weather in Samford Valley, Australia and the world. Please take time to explore it!

The mobile site is really a "small device screen" version limited to a single column and quite a few menu options are disabled. To speed up the loading I have also limited the amount of information to just the esentials. You can view the desktop version on a mobile by clicking the desktop icon at the bottom righthand corner of the page.

I might disable the mobile version as a default, in which case it will display the full desktop version every time, and you can click the mobile icon in the bottom righthand corner if you really want the mobile page!

Q: Who pays for the site?

A: The site is paid for by Steve Parry. If you want to read more about helping support the provision of the site, please click the "Please Donate!" menu button in the menu header about donating to support the project.

Q: What if I have any questions or suggestions?

A: Please email Steve Parry with your question and suggestions by using the contact page in the "About" menu button, or email info@samfordweather.com.
